In the case of applications for funding for individuals, The Trust prefers a referral from an authorised individual or body such as social services, a local support agency such as The Hythe Pantry, The Rainbow Centre, or a church or religious organisation or local school who know the family/individual concerned.

All applications will receive an acknowledgement of receipt from the Secretary within 7 days.

The Trustees meet every three months to discuss applications so an application may not receive an immediate decision. Trustees liaise in-between meeting times and may contact an applicant to discuss their needs in more detail or organise a visit. If we do receive an urgent request we do our best to help as soon as we can.

Paper application forms are also available from The Open Door Project, 101 High Street, Hythe CT21 5JH. Applicants may also hand in their completed application forms there.
